Description
Hummus is a delicious appetizer. In Turkey, we eat hummus as a mezze. With a few ingredients, you can also make it home.

Ingredients
- 200 gr. chickpeas, boiled, drained, place the chickpeas in hot water
- 3 tbsp of tahini
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- Juice of a half lemon
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of cumin
- 2 tbsp of water
To garnish
- 1 tspn of olive oil
- 1 tsp of sumac
- 1 tspn of chickpeas, boiled
- 1/4 handful parsley, finely chopped
Preparation
- 1- Puree the boiled chickpeas, tahini, grated garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin and salt with a blender, until smooth, for about 5 minutes. If hummus seems too thick, add in a tablespoon or two water.
- 2- Garnish hummus with olive oil, parsley, sumac and a few boiled chickpeas.
